Aghh, make the insecurities go AWAY.
On a completely unrelated note, this evening I visited someone in a immigration detention centre and I have just spent the last two hours drafting & re-drafting a letter of support for an individual. Am I allowed to be a teeny bit tired and grumpy at 2am? I will be sure to read the above tomorrow and laugh at my own dumb thought process.

I hear ya.
Tumblr, this is the happiest I have been for ages.
Two weeks ago, I was speaking at Chatham House surrounded by people from the UN and the WHO. Yesterday, I attended a workshop in deepest, darkest East London, to raise awareness amongst faith leaders. This afternoon, I was invited to a meeting at the Houses of Parliament to offer guidance on a parliamentary report aimed at identifying gaps in UK public health policy (I am deliberately being vague).
Tomorrow, I will be in the office, trying to get through a long list of administrative tasks (my least preferable location / tasks).
I am loving this internship. I am absolutely certain that I want to continue working in this field.
On a slightly gratuitous note - I met a major hottie a couple of weeks ago. He’s stupidly clever (two Masters - Oxford and the LSHTM), and, get this.. he even has a personality. Obviously, he’s way out of my league and he’s based across the pond, but nonetheless he was a refreshing sight.
Just between you and me, tumblr, I have met another hottie here in the UK. I will definitely bump in to him again and perhaps after a drastic haircut and a new wardrobe, I might have the confidence to do something about it..**
